On August the 2nd, the magazine Latin Lawyer quoted the
participation of Guillermo Uribe and the team of Corporate Finance
Practice Group at Rubio Villegas y Asociados, in their representation
of Casa de Bolsa Finamex relating the registration of its two
structured note programmes, worth US$7.5 billion in total. Before
these programmes, only banks could issue structured notes for which
they are the first transactions of a kind authorized by the National
Banking and Securities Commission.
